PCNL

PCNL is a technique used to remove certain stones in the kidney or upper ureter that are too large for other forms of stone treatment, such as wave lithotripsy, shock, or ureteroscopy.

URS

Ureteroscopy is a procedure in which a small, flexible endoscope (ureteroscope) is inserted through the urethra into the bladder and ureter to diagnose and treat urinary tract problems, including stones. The stone can be removed without making any cuts.

OIU

Optical internal urethrotomy is used to treat urethral strictures, a medical condition in which the urethra (the tube that drains urine from the bladder) becomes narrowed. This surgical procedure involves removing body tissue from the urethra to expose it.

Prostate TURP

Transurethral resection of the prostate is a common surgical procedure used to treat urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate. An instrument called a resectoscope is placed on the end of the penis. It then travels through the tube that takes urine out of the bladder, called the urethra. The resectoscope helps the surgeon identify and remove excess prostate tissue that is blocking the flow of urine. TURP tends to be considered an effective treatment option for men with moderate to severe urinary problems that do not improve with medication.
